SKYE Academy was founded on the belief that language education can be more personal, more demanding and better. When we opened our doors in Nové Zámky in September 2022, we built SKYE around an individual approach, high expectations and the conviction that quality should always come before quantity.

With each year came more students, teachers, experience and results. Cambridge preparation has become an important part of our work and we have been an official Cambridge Preparation Centre since 2021. Over the past five years, we have prepared 65 candidates for Cambridge exams. Every one of them achieved a certificate at the level they had prepared for and 56% achieved a result above the level of the exam itself.

We have grown, but never at any cost. Individual tuition remains at the heart of SKYE, together with the importance of knowing each student, understanding their abilities and goals and recognising when they need support and when we can expect more from them.

From the very beginning, we have also believed that the environment in which we learn matters. The spaces at SKYE have therefore been created with the same attention to detail as our teaching. For us, design is not simply about aesthetics. It is a natural part of how we want our students to feel and how we want education to be presented.

Years of experience, results and continuous professional development have gradually shaped our own savoir-faire. In 2026, the internationally recognised Cambridge CELTA qualification became part of that expertise. Above all, however, we remain committed to learning, questioning our own practice and finding ways to do what we do even better.
